Battle Plan

Welcome to the WestPoint and Sandhurst of Operation Flashpoint.

Operation Flashpoint's big brother Virtual Battlefield Systems has already been recognized as a training tool for the American Marines and several other armed forces round the world. The Command Engine builds on that level of gaming reality consequently you need to understand real command situations to make the best use of the Command Engine.

On these pages we will be placing a training structure for different scenarios built in Operation Flashpoint with the Command Engine. From simple bounding over watch to timed and planned attacks, defense in depth, hasty attacks and support requests. We will of course be happy to accept suggestions as to the creation of additional courses on request to: info@thechainofcommand.com

Because Operation Flashpoint and the Command Engine reflect current military practice we recommend that users of both make extensive reference to these websites and online documents.
